AL-QUR'AN IS THE FINAL WORD OF GOD:No doubt that the Qur'an is the final word of God, revealed not only to the Muslims but to the whole mankind. Muhammad (peace be upon him) was the final Messenger of Allah to convey the universal message of the Qur'an.
AL-QUR'AN:
"Say, "O men! I am sent unto you all, as the Messenger of Allah ..." (al-A'raf:158)
In view of the fact that the Qur'an is revealed to mankind as a whole irrespective religion, let us come together and read and understand its message. The Qur'an welcomes anyone who want to prove its authenticity and originality. In fact, it is opened to challenge to examine its miracle.
AL-QUR'AN:
"And if you are in doubt as to what We have revealed to Our servant then produce a surah like thereunto." (al-Baqarah:23)
Since the revelation of the Qur'an, many writings had been produced yet none has paralleled the Qur'an in its eloquence, loftiness of style and in accuaracy of prophecies.
AL-QUR'AN:
"Say: "if the whole of mankind and jinns were to gather together to produce the like of this Qur'an, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they backed up each other with help and support." (al-Israk:88)
APAKAH ERTI PERKATAAN QUR'AN DAN APA YANG DIMAKSUDKAN DENGAN AL-QUR'AN?
"Qur'an" menurut pendapat yang paling kuat seperti yang dikemukakan oleh Dr. Subhi as-Salih bererti "bacaan", asal kata Qara'a. Kata al-Qur'an itu berbentuk masdar dengan erti isim maf'ul iaitu maqru' (dibaca).
Di dalam al-Qur'an sendiri, ada penggunaan kata "Qur'an" dalam erti demikian seperti tersebut di dalam ayat 17 dan 18, surah al-Qiyamah. Kemudian digunakan kata "Qur'an" itu untuk al-Qur'an yang dikenali sekarang ini. Definisi al-Qur'an ialah: "Kalam Allah S.W.T. yang merupakan mukjizat yang diturunkan (diwahyukan) kepada Nabi Muhammad s.a.w. Ia ditulis di mushaf dan diriwayatkan dengan mutawatir serta membacanya adalah ibadah".
